Is feminine cancer hereditary?

My mother developed cervical cancer shortly after she gave birth to me. She required a hysterectomy. My great grandmother had uterine cancer and also require a hysterectomy. My aunt had ovarian cancer and required treatment. My doctor found precancerous cells a while back after performing a pap smear. Is it possible for me to inherit cancer since almost every woman in my family has had cancer?
