I think your face structure would lend itself to a Katie Holmes type cut well. I might recommend a few bangs, meaning not a lot but a few wispy ones to set on the forehead. I have a similar hair color to you...I've added highlights before and it looked fine but I've also gotten compliments on my natural looking hair, so think about the highlights before you get them!
