Where does the water go when split into hydrogen & oxygen?

I've seen a detailed description of these new devices that can split water into hydrogen & oxygen and then burn it in place of the propane on a propane car engine. What it does not say is what happens to the water after it is burned. What precisely happens to the water, does it completely disappear or half disappear, what?
