I have a headache and can't get out of the house?

I have a bottle of Extra Strength Tylenol here (500mg). The expiry is February 2010. Today it is October 2010. Are these pills still safe to take? Will they be effective at getting rid of my headache? What other side effects might I experience because I would be ingesting expired medication? Could doing this kill me?
