Do the new oil contracts with Iraq by western oil companies, confirm what we knew all along with the Iraq war?

I believe the war was more for our government to control the flow of oil.With the EU. & China becoming major players this they think would allow us to stay on top. That is how crooks think & when Bush & Co. run things there pay off is control of contracts ect. equal power & money to keep the family on top.
